Story: Remember the Wild & Scenic Rivers Act
Why should we work towards a Great Lakes Commons and how ?
Because water runs through us! I am sending shares #3502 and #3503 to an incredible woman, Pam Arnold, who is a Force Majeure: paddler, friend, chef, artist, gardener, farmer and fierce steward of the land-water interface. She lives on the St. Croix River, the first waterway protected by the "Wild & Scenic Rivers Act of 1968" (spearheaded by Gaylord Nelson).

While it is frustrating to see some key environmental legislative achievements being undercut, we must remain fierce defenders of rivers and their shorelines. I want to thank Pam for her tireless dedication to sustainable Place-making.
